Here’s the info for the education performances for the Piedmont Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker up in Kannapolis. I believe they will be held at A.L. Brown in Kannapolis, but Elise can verify, as Caroline is dancing in the one on the 11th. If anyone would like to take point on organizing attending one of these, that would be great as we will be going to the Girl Scout performance in the evening instead (Erik wants to go with us and can’t get off). There is a chance Sarah and I might go to the one Caroline is in as well since the tickets are so incredibly cheap, but as much as I enjoy it, I’m not sure we’re up for Nutcracker twice in two days.<g>

Cost is $2 per person attending, child or adult
They are asking for the contact information for each adult attending. In order to go as a group, registration needs to be as soon as possible, though they will take reservations as long as they have seating available. The closer to the performance they get, the more the volunteers are tied up with lots of other jobs and it would help to be able to process reservations before that. We would need to send in the total number of children and adults coming, contact info for each adult, and one check for the total made out to Piedmont Dance Theatre, 163 West B Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Need to include a phone number for the primary contact person as well.
She did say that they have had a low response from the school systems to these and they are concerned that a lot of the homeschool folks will come to this that would normally come to the evening or matinee performances and they will lose a lot of money on the show. She does ask if you can, consider seeing it in the evening or matinee either instead or as well (I promised I would include that in the info).
