College Funding 101: The basics of paying for college Paying for college can be a challenging process if you are not in the know! This session is aimed at middle school and high school parents who are interested in learning about the financial aid process early and how to best prepare for it. We will examine how financial aid is determined, the different types of financial aid available to students and their families and what parents can do now to impact the cost of their child’s college education in the future.
