To Whom It May Concern:   Hello, my name is Abbe Reed.  I am a board-certified music therapist working for Dreamweavers Unlimited (Gastonia, NC) a provider agency for adults and children who have developmental delays or a disability.  I provide individual and group opportunities for children and adults using music as an intervention to increase social skills, communication whether verbal or nonverbal, cognitive skills, sensory integration, gross and fine motor movements and social emotional skills.   I have just met a little girl residing in Gaston County who is homeschooled and has a developmental disability who has joined my group to improve her social skills.  This is one of the only opportunities for her to do this, and I wondered how I could share my mission of music therapy to the homeschooling community.    Thank you so much for reading this and please feel free to contact me via email or at the number listed below.  We do have a website that lists a little more information about our agency and the music therapy program.  Thank you again! -- Join us for the first annual Autism Awareness Fair Hosted by Dreamweavers Unlimited April 20th, 2009 4-6pm Martha Rivers Park, Gastonia Call or email me for more information Abbe Reed MT-BC Music Therapist Dreamweavers Unlimited, Inc. 1010 E. Please check with contact person to confirm end time noted above.   End time is required to add event to calendar, and when none is noted in info, an estimation is entered.   Monday, April 20th 7pm University Hills Baptist Church   Homeschool Pack 94 Tiger Round Up   Every year the Tiger Den of Homeschool Pack 94 invites prospective Tiger Cubs to their last den meeting before becoming Wolves.  It's how the Tigers help their pack go!  This year's Tigers have planned a fun night that will include a fire engine visit from a local fire station.    Being a Tiger is a lot of fun, and it's a great way to introduce a young boy to scouting.  They watch the scouts before them climbing in rank and learn how to work together as a den.  Mr. Lake Speed and Mr. Jesse Metford helped this year's den fully experience the Tiger Cub motto, "Search, Discover, Share".  The Tigers visited Joe Gibbs Racing and attended a Nascar event, took a trip to a local TV station, helped with a food drive, toured a local historic site to see how children lived long ago, and visited a fire station and explored a fire engine.  Tigers also had two opportunities to go camping and hike with their den.  They built their first Raingutter Regatta boats and Pinewood Derby cars and now can't wait to be Wolves!   Pack 94 is a homeschool pack committed to helping parents train up their young boys.  Tigers are rising first graders or 6 by August 14th.  For more information email amberb@carolina. rr.com or you may call with questions (704) 503-4073 after 4:30pm.    Thanks,   Amber Benton on behalf of Pack 94's Tigers
