Homeschool Swim @ Tri-Acres Swim Club

Back by popular demand!!!! We are offering Homeschool Swim Day again this summer. It will be every other Friday starting with the first Friday in June. Tri-Acres Swim Club is an outdoor pool on Weddington Road in Concord, NC. Hours for the Homeschool Swim Day are from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The cost for non-members is $3.00 per person. There is a picnic shelter and tables. There is also a bathhouse with showers. The pool has a deep end with diving board, middle section from 3 ft. to 5 ft. and kiddie section 3 ft. and under. Bring your lunch and join us for swimming at the pool. Or you may purchase food and drink items at the concession stand. The address is 6240 Weddington Road in Concord. It is on Weddington Road very close to Pitts School Road. Charlotte Symphony at the Energy Explorium

(End time is a guess.  None given by info source.)   Dear Homeschooled Families,   We invite you and your family to enjoy an evening with the Charlotte Symphony on Friday, June 19, at 8:15 p.m. on the lawn of the EnergyExplorium. The concert’s program is “Dance Night” and includes toe-tapping symphonic hits such as Offenbach’s “Can-Can” and the classic swinging selection “Duke Ellington Fantasy.”   Admission and parking are free, and you’re welcome to pack a picnic basket or purchase food from the East Lincoln High School Band. If you have a boat, you may anchor in the EnergyExplorium’s cove at the southern tip of Lake Norman to enjoy the concert, as well.   We hope you'll bring your family and friends to hear some great music and enjoy an evening at the lake with the Charlotte Symphony.   Please fill free to forward this wonderful opportunity to other families who might be interested in joining us.  We look forward to seeing you at our event.    Terry Lanham McGuire Nuclear Station Corporate Communications

Park Days

Our members regularly plan park days for free play and social interaction (for parents as well as kids!).  Please check our calendar regularly for scheduled park days.
