SUMMARY:Have Dessert and Meet Quentin Ruiz-Esparza\, Former Homeschooler & UNC-CH Grad
DESCRIPTION:Thought you all might be interested in the what's going on in the life of a former home-schooler. ..
Please come to a dessert at our home on Wednesday\, September 2\, at 7 PM for Quentin Ruiz-Esparza\, who is preparing to go to Thailand for a year to serve with International Justice Mission (<a href=\\"http\://www.ijm.org\\" title=\\"www.ijm.org\\">www.ijm.org</a>) . Quentin graduated in May from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
We'd love for you to meet Quentin and learn about the heart and vision of IJM and Quentin's part in it. To quote from the IJM web site\:
International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that
secures justice for victims of slavery\, sexual exploitation
and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers\,
investigators and aftercare professionals work with local
governments to ensure victim rescue\, to prosecute perpetrators
and to strengthen the community and civic factors that promote
 functioning public justice systems.
Quentin will be working with a Thai team to establish citizenship rights and work towards preventing human trafficking. As a missions intern\, he is dependent upon the financial giving of others in order to work in Thailand.
If you can join us\, please email or call. We'd love to see you. Thanks!

SUMMARY:World Hunger Day Super Sale
DESCRIPTION:<b>Awaiting info regarding actual start and end times.  For some reason\, when &quot\;All day&quot\; is checked\, arbitrary times show up.  Because of that\, I had to guess until I get a response to my inquiry. -- Adael</b>

 **********************************************

Mark your calendars for the biggest and best yard sale of the year.  <b>It's at First Baptist Church of Huntersville on September 26th.</b>
This sale makes 45\,000 to 50\,000 each year and every penny is given to
fight world hunger.  I don't go to this church but I have gone to this
sale for years and it is not to be missed.

This well organized sale covers about 4 acres of land and includes
areas for childrens\, mens and womens clothes\, furniture\, sporting
 goods\, electronics\, outdoor tools and plants\, toys\, media\, linens\,
kitchen and home decor.  There are also barbque and bake sale
goodies in the church gym.  Bring a cart/wagon\, cash\, lots of water and
NO KIDS.  This sale takes at least 3 hours to thoroughly explore which
is maddening for kids and the moms who have to deal with them.  Plus it
is easy to lose little ones in the crowd of over 200 shoppers.
