The emphasis in this class is on the basics of art elements and art principles of composition and design. Areas of study include drawing, painting, printmaking, perspective, architecture, and art history. This class is specific to Middle School and High School Grade Levels. Where: Mallard Creek Rec. The interest from homeschool parents was high and thus PMA would like to invite you to join us for a planning meeting on Septmeber 29th at Phoenix Montessori Academy. The meeting will begin at 6:30. We will assess interest in the various sports, and decide which sports we will field teams for this year. Some of the options include: basketball (girls and boys), tennis (boys and girls), golf, volleyball (girls), and cross country (boys and girls). PMA is excited about the opportunity to continue with a sports program. The children benefited greatly from last year's experience. At Get to Know Street Beat you bring something to make noise with, like a pot or pan, and they will organize everyone into drum groups and do call & response, etc. I rsvp’d me and Charlie for this event, but I know he’d have more fun if a couple of his friends were there too.
