Field trip to NC Transportation Museum
When: May 14th
Ages: suitable for all ages
Cost: $2 each for train rides for students and 1st adult ($5 each additional adult per family)
Length of visit: 2 hours for self guided tour. A grat deal of walking is required to see the entire museum. THe train ride last about 30 minutes.
Where to eat: Restaurants are available within walking distance from the museum. There are also several covered picnic tables on the property. Vending machines are available near the roundhouse.
