What is ENRICH?

ENRICH (formerly Relaxed Homeschoolers) is an inclusive homeschooling support group operating primarily in Cabarrus County and the University City area of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Our purpose is to support one another in our homeschooling efforts. We operate year round, although we are less active in the summer months.

ENRICH:

• Is inclusive of ages, methods, faiths and race. We embrace those who have beliefs different than our own, expecting that we can learn from everyone. We welcome those who are considering homeschooling.
• Recognizes that all children have a love of learning and affirms homeschooling as an excellent educational choice.
• Members work collaboratively toward common interests, sharing information, resources, and methods. We network with other homeschoolers and homeschooling groups.
• Provides support to parents, identity as homeschoolers and potential friendships to children.
• Works to identify and utilize resources and provide back to the community.
• Operates in accordance with the principles of respect, honesty, openness, and decency.
